The Garibaldi Lake Trail is always in very good condition and is well-maintained. The trek through the first two lakes, Barrier Lake and Lesser Garibaldi Lake, is nice for a break before continuing on to the main lake. The first 5 kilometres are through tiring switchbacks but not super steep. Garibaldi Lake is the crown jewel and a fabulous lake, with amazing colour and breathtaking views and landscape.
